Maison is a café, patisserie and bistro at The Convex on Riverside Lane, Nairobi. A little Parisian room built on honest plates, warm light and the belief that a good table can fix most days.
The Space

Tucked into The Convex on Riverside Lane, Maison is the kind of room that slows you down in the best way. Morning light over breakfast plates, the low hum of the espresso machine in the afternoon, grills catching fire as the evening crowd drifts in.
Open every day from 7 in the morning until midnight, the café moves with the rhythm of the neighbourhood: early meetings over coffee, long family lunches, late dinners that end with one more round of tea.

Our kitchen is guided by two loves: the quiet discipline of the French café, and the restless generosity of modern Nairobi. One brings technique, the other brings warmth.
That is why croques and benedicts sit beside steak frites and bourguignon, and why a flat white shares the table with poached-pear pancakes. A menu built the way brunch should feel, unhurried and without fuss.
